Happy Second Semester

Off Site students will be reading current events and blogging about stories they find interesting.  Every day you will get either a card with a topic or have free choice about what news to search.  You will read at least three stories on one topic each day.  From what you read, choose one published article or story to blog about.

Your daily blog MUST contain the following:

•  A hyperlink back to the original story
• A brief summary of what you read (retell it in your own words)
• Your thoughts, opinions and questions about what you read

Additionally, you will read the blogs of your peers and comment.Each week, you must comment on at least ten blog posts written by people in this class.  Your comments should show your opinions/interest/ideas about the story and the ideas of your peers.
